Salesforce
CRM signals: ARR, renewal date, CSM owner, and opportunity stage.
Category: CRM · Auth: Connected App (OAuth)
Salesforce is the system of record for enterprise commercial context — contract value, renewal timing, and the CSM who owns the relationship. For larger accounts, that context is what separates a routine dip from a six-figure fire drill: ChurnWarn uses it to weight urgency and cost-of-churn, and to route a softening account to the person who can actually do something about it.
What it pulls
- Account ARR & contract value — the revenue on the line for each account.
- Renewal date & CSM owner — when it's up for renewal and who owns the save.
- Opportunity stage — open expansion or renewal deals in flight.
Signals it feeds
- Days until renewal — sharpens urgency as the date nears.
- Contract value (MRR tier) — banded revenue-at-risk for prioritization.
- Referrals (
referral) — advocacy captured from CRM signals. - CSM owner is shown on the account view so escalation reaches the right hands.
Setup
- In ChurnWarn, open Settings → Integrations → Salesforce and choose Connect.
- In Salesforce Setup, create a Connected App with OAuth enabled and read scopes for Accounts and Opportunities.
- Authorize the OAuth flow from ChurnWarn.
- Map Salesforce accounts to your accounts by external id.
- Press Sync now to pull current account and opportunity fields.
Staying in sync
Once authorized, Salesforce enrichment stays current as records change, so renewal dates and ownership reflect what's in the CRM. The integration shows its last sync and last error — handy if the Connected App's refresh token is revoked or a profile loses field-level read access.
